Visit Five SonsCellar Door and Kitchen Five Sons Estate has become a favourite wine destination on the Mornington Peninsula. Five Sons is a place to sit and partake of tasty food to match the wines, a comfy fireside space for meeting friends and a large sunny lawn area on which to while away the afternoon while the children play safely. Five Sons Estate is a working farm and vineyard and the grounds also have a wonderful functional feel. A large man-made dam (which doubles as a reservoir for irrigation) provides a feature within the extensive grassed areas as does the old oak tree which dominates the newer plantings. We have a delicious meze menu available at Cellar Door every weekend. What is Meze?? Meze or Mezze or Mezedes - is really the Mediterranean (most famously Greek) word of a tidbit of food, a small serving of something delicious to accompany a glass of wine as you sit back and relax with friends. Replacing the stress of having to choose from a menu, or sit down to a formal meal, Meze is the sumptuous alternative - a little bit of everything keeps you satisfied and interested as the many tasty dishes flow from the kitchen. Come and enjoy many little tastes! The menu may include a combination of spanakopita (spinach and fetta and filo pie), chicken kleftico, house made dips, lamb kofta, or keftedes (spicy meatballs) and marinated olives.
